Designjoy charges $4,995 a month for one active design request at a time, which is $59,940 a year. At its average 48-hour turnaround that works out to about $462 a request if you keep the queue full, and $1,249 a request if you send four a month. The plan is simple and pausable, and it gets expensive fast when your backlog is thin.
Designjoy is a one-person studio run by its founder, Brett Williams, and the whole pricing page is a single card. Below, that card becomes a price per request at different volumes, we set it against five other subscriptions and a freelance designer, and we flag the two refund statements that do not agree.

What the price buys
There is one plan. Designjoy labels the $4,995 price a lifetime discount for a limited time, with $5,995 shown as the regular rate, so the price you lock in depends on when you sign up. One older write-up describes a $7,995 Pro tier with two requests at once. It is not on the site today, so do not budget for it.
You add as many requests as you like to a queue, and Designjoy works through them one at a time. The site gives an average of 48 hours per delivery in one place and "two business days or less" for most requests in another, with complex work taking longer. Neither is a guarantee.
| Not included | Where you would go instead |
|---|---|
| Video and animated GIFs | A freelance video editor or motion designer |
| 3D modeling | A 3D artist, usually by the project |
| Complex packaging | A packaging designer with print experience |
| Magazines, books, InDesign | An editorial or print designer |
| Document design, such as forms | A document or forms designer |

The number that matters
A month has about 21.7 business days. At one request every two business days, the ceiling is roughly 10.8 deliveries a month. Few teams hit it, because someone has to write each brief and review each draft, and a revision round sits in the same single slot as new work.
A logo that takes three rounds can hold the queue for about a week. That is fine for a founder with one big project and painful for a marketing team that needs a dozen ad sizes by Friday.

Compare those figures with what the same pieces cost one by one. Our freelance graphic design cost guide prices common jobs by the hour and by the project.
Side by side
Designjoy is one of the priciest flat subscriptions and gives you the fewest parallel requests. What you pay for is one senior designer's taste and Webflow builds in the same plan. Everyone else sells more throughput for less.
| Service | Monthly price | Work in parallel | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Designjoy | $4,995 | 1 request | Founders who want one senior designer plus Webflow |
| ManyPixels | $699 to $2,599 | 1 to several, by plan | Steady graphics at a low price |
| Kimp | $1,397 to $1,697 | 2 to 5 active requests | Graphics plus short video |
| Penji | $995 to $4,500 | By plan | Small business and agency resale |
| Flocksy | $1,699 to $5,899 | 42 to 168 creative hours | Teams that think in hours |
| Superside | $16,000 and up | A managed team | Enterprise marketing volume |
Prices as listed or reported in 2026. Superside is its $15,000 Flex minimum plus a $1,000 software fee on a 12-month term.
The cheaper route, honestly
A freelance designer billed by the hour costs only what you use. To spend $4,995 at $60 an hour you would need 83 hours of design a month, more than half of a full-time load. If you hire that freelancer through our Business plan at $349 a month, the bar drops to 77 hours, still more than most small teams send.
On the other side, the BLS May 2025 median wage for US graphic designers is $62,960. Loaded at 1.43 for benefits and payroll taxes, that is $7,502.73 a month. Designjoy is 66.6% of that at the discounted price and 79.9% at the regular one, for one request at a time rather than a full-time person working several jobs.
Before you buy more design at all, check which assets are paying back. A marketing dashboard that puts every ad channel in one view shows which creatives move blended ROAS, so the queue fills with work worth doing.

Refunds
The pricing card offers 75% back if you are not happy after the first week. That makes a trial week cost $1,248.75. The FAQ on the same site says no refunds after the first week and none for completed work. The two can both be true only if the 75% applies inside week one, so confirm it in the checkout terms.
Pausing
Billing runs in 31-day cycles and unused days carry over when you pause. Pause after 21 days and you keep 10 days for later. That is more generous than subscriptions that charge $10 to $20 a month to hold your place, and it is the best reason to pick Designjoy for lumpy, project-shaped work.
A sensible way to use the plan: save up a backlog, subscribe, keep the queue full for one or two cycles, then pause. Run it like that and you stay near the $462 end of the cost range instead of the $2,498 end.

Questions
Designjoy sells one plan, the Monthly Club, at $4,995 a month, shown as a limited-time lifetime discount against a regular price of $5,995. That is $59,940 a year at the discounted rate. The plan covers one active request at a time, unlimited brands, Webflow development and up to two users.
It is worth it if you keep the queue full. Sent at its average 48-hour pace, the plan handles about 10 requests a month, roughly $462 each. At four requests a month the price is $1,249 per request, and below that a freelance designer billed by the hour is almost always cheaper.
The pricing section offers 75% back if you are not happy after the first week, so a trial week costs about $1,249. The FAQ on the same site says there are no refunds after the first week and none for completed work. Read the terms at checkout, since the two statements do not match.
Yes. Designjoy bills in 31-day cycles and lets you pause at any time, carrying unused days forward. If you pause after 21 days, you keep 10 days of service for later. That makes the plan friendlier to seasonal work than subscriptions that charge a monthly fee to hold your place.
Designjoy excludes 3D modeling, animated graphics such as GIFs, video, document design such as medical forms, complex packaging, extensive print design such as magazines and books, and Adobe InDesign files. If your backlog leans on any of these, you will need a second vendor or a freelancer for that work.
For lower monthly prices with several requests at once, ManyPixels runs $699 to $2,599 a month, Kimp $1,397 to $1,697 and Penji $995 to $4,500. Flocksy sells creative hours from $1,699. For large teams Superside starts at about $16,000 a month. A freelance designer paid by the hour beats all of them at low volume.
Post the brief once and get a shortlist of three vetted designers. Agree the rate, pay them directly and run as many jobs in parallel as you need. $349 a month for the post, no project fee.
Business is $349 per month, or $174 per month billed yearly (50% off), for a project post on the SuperGig project board, with no project fee.
